Questions I Ask

I’m very curious about other people’s experiences and stories, and I like connecting with people. At the beginning of the pandemic, I asked my friends a question of the month just to see how they were doing, and I’ve had many other questions I’ve asked over the years. Here are my favorites, in no particular order.

  • At the beginning of the Pandemic, what did you miss?
  • What changed because of the pandemic that you want to keep?
  • Who do you not contact as much as you should?
  • What are you reading?
  • What do you do to feel calm?
  • Tell me about the time you came closest to dying.
  • What do you wish you knew about sex before you had it?
  • Tell me about when you changed your mind about something important.
  • What are you looking forward to in the next year?
  • What was one of the hardest things you’ve ever done?
  • Tell me about a book that changed your life.
  • Poof! You’re trans. What’s your name?
  • When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
  • What did you wish you knew before you got married?
  • What surprised you about getting older?
  • How do you feel about being asked all these questions?
  • What do you wish you knew before you had children?
  • What’s the worst injury you’ve had?
  • What’s the origin of your name?
  • How do you deal with creeps?
  • When you were a kid, what non-parent adult had a big influence on you?
  • What unusual skill or talent do you have?

If you have an answer you are eager to share, or have a question you think I should add, email me at “questions” at “brightestbulb” dot “net”.
